Yesterday, I was visiting to National Museum, Jakarta for my weekend holiday. National Museum, Jakarta is one of the biggest museum in Indonesia. In this place, I can see about history, culture, art, language, knowledge, religion, social organization about all ethnics in Indonesia, example: statues (arca) age Hindu-Buddha kingdom in Indonesia, arts from traditional ethnics around Indonesia like traditional statues, traditional swords (keris), traditional puppets (wayang), traditional clothes, traditional masks, custom houses, etc.

For me, this museum gave taste about full knowledge about culture of Indonesia. I can see traditional culture from many ethnics around Indonesia like Java, Sunda, Madura, Melayu, Minangkabau, Batak, Aceh, Dayak, Sawu, Minahasa, Toraja, Bugis, Bali, Sasak, Timor, Flores, Ambon, Biak, Dani, Asmat, etc. I think this place very interesting to be visited especially for social scientist like antropolog, sociolog, filolog, or etnolog to study about Indonesia culture (Indonesia studies).[]

Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. It’s meaning ‘Unity in diversity’ like INDONESIA…
